Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
If you are not a signed up user, we do not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable user data, except what you voluntarily provide through email or other direct contact.
We do collect IP addresses of devices accessing our services, as well as information like internet domains, the date and time of a visit, and the pages accessed. This information is used solely for diagnostic and analytic purposes in order to improve the services we provide.
If You Sign Up For a Service
When you sign up for any of our services – paid or otherwise – we will record specific personal information about you, such as your name, username, and email address.
We will also collect and store information about your use of our services so as to improve them. For example, we keep a log of what features are being used at any time.
We also log account and transaction history for accounting purposes, and to monitor our business activities.
We serve advertisements to site visitors through Google Analytics and Google Adwords. We feel Google does a great job with user privacy and GDPR compliance.
Data Retention settings have been added to limit the duration for how long any records are held to within the legal limits.

We use a couple of payment providers to charge for our products online. These companies will have access to your personal and payment information. When paying by credit card, UAV4GEO themselves do not ever have any access to your credit card details.
The third parties we use are Stripe.
We share information with these companies only to the extent necessary for the purposes of processing payments you make via our website.
We may send you email notifications regarding your service (such as invoices) or which you have specifically requested (such as newsletters or notifications when map processing is started or completed). You have the ability to opt out of any of this communication at any time.
We will never provide your personal information or email address to any third parties except where they are specifically employed to help deliver our own services, as detailed above.
Right to be Forgotten
Users have the right to be forgotten from UAV4GEO.
Please contact our support to request a permanent deletion of all information we hold with respect to your account.
If you want to block the cookies, you will not be able to use the services.
UAV4GEO takes many precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information. These precautions include:
- Use of SSL encryption for sensitive data
- Hardware stored in secured datacenters behind firewalls
- All access to information restricted by password and/or secure key
- All passwords are encrypted (not stored in plain text anywhere)
Whilst we take great care to ensure any confidential information remains protected we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the Internet.
Of course you are responsible for keeping your password and user details confidential. Nobody at UAV4GEO will ever ask you for your password, so please don’t trust anybody asking you for it.
Law Enforcement and Transparency
We require a subpoena or court order to provide non-content user information to law enforcement, like your name, means of payment, and length of service. We will only disclose user content, including maps or data stored, in response to a probable cause search warrant.
If we are ever forced to share your information, we’ll notify you with the full details of the request before we disclose it unless legally prohibited by law or court order.
